Who we are

Overblocks ("Overblocks", "we", "us") operates the website at https://overblocks.com (the "Site"). We are based in Israel and act as the data controller for personal data processed through the Site. This policy explains what we collect, why, on what legal basis, and the rights you have. For anything not answered here, contact us at hello@overblocks.com.

What we collect

Information you provide. If you contact us through the Site, we collect the details you submit — such as your name, email address, company, role, and the contents of your message, along with any optional fields you choose to complete.

Information collected automatically. If — and only if — you accept analytics cookies, we collect usage data such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, and referral source. If you decline, no analytics run and the Site works exactly the same. We also store your consent choice itself in your browser.

How we use it, and our legal bases

Under the EU and UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Responding to your inquiry and evaluating a potential engagement — steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in operating and growing our business (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Analytics and improving the Site— your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time by clearing the Site's data in your browser or contacting us.
• Security, record-keeping, and compliance — our legitimate interests in protecting the Site (Art. 6(1)(f)) and compliance with legal obligations that apply to us (Art. 6(1)(c)).

We are also subject to Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, and we process personal data in accordance with it.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising, and we do not carry out profiling or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Sharing

We share personal data only with:

• Service providers that host our infrastructure and support our internal business operations, acting on our instructions and bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations;
• Professional advisers (such as lawyers and accountants) where necessary;
• Authorities, where disclosure is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
• A successor entity, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets — in which case this policy continues to apply to your data until you are notified otherwise.

International transfers

Your data may be processed in Israel, the United States, and other countries where our service providers operate. Israel benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision. Where data is transferred to countries without an adequacy decision, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep inquiry data for as long as it is relevant to a prospective or ongoing engagement, and afterwards only as needed for record-keeping and legal purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of our analytics provider. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, and loss.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; ask us to restrict processing or provide your data in a portable format; object to processing based on legitimate interests; and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal). If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Cookies and local storage

The Site stores your consent choice in your browser's local storage. Analytics cookies and identifiers — set by Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — are used only after you accept — nothing loads if you decline, or before you have made a choice. Declining does not limit the Site in any way. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the Site's data in your browser, after which the consent banner will appear again.

Children

The Site is directed at businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above, and the current version will always be available on this page.
